Debra Farquharson, CPA
Founder, Advisor & Coach
An experienced CEO, CFO, venture capital investor, and director of both private and TSX, TSX-V, Nasdaq, CSE, OTC public companies in a diverse range of industries including technology, manufacturing, health care, real estate, consumer products, and the entertainment industry, Debra is a graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada with a Bachelor of Business Management in Finance and Marketing. A CPA, CA Debra articled with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Toronto. She is the founder of Global Equity Source Inc., an equity crowdfunding incubation platform that is currently in prelaunch mode as well as www.internationalcrowdfundingassociation.net a not-for-profit with a mandate to lobby for changes in international equity crowdfunding regulations. Its goal is to make it easier for investors to invest in small businesses on a global basis, thereby creating economic prosperity in local communities around the world.
Nicholas Coriano
Advisor - Marketing & Business Development
Nick is the founder of Homescape LLC, a holding company, and has acted as the company’s CEO since inception in 2005. Nick has made investments and developed business models in tech, real estate and the financial & legal services industry. He received a B.S. in Business Finance from The University of Connecticut and worked at Merrill Lynch and The New York Stock Exchange. In 2012 he obtained a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. Nick is also fluent in Spanish.
Ramy Taraboulsi
Advisor - Technology and Programming
Ramy brings a depth of expertise having recently developed and sold a fintech business to a major industry player. He is responsible for overseeing the operations of VeritableSoft, in addition to setting up the strategic direction of the company as a board member.
​Prior to working in VeritableSoft, Ramy held different executive positions including Chairman and CEO at SyncBASE, CIO at Insurance Bureau of Canada, VP - Internet Strategy and Development at Fidelity Investments, VP - Internet Strategy at Merill Lynch and Chief Systems Architect at Merill Lynch. Ramy has also held various directorship positions, and he is currently a director of Autonomicity Games Inc., AlphaOmega Reno Construction and ESOP Association Canada.
​Ramy is a Professional Engineer who holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science, MBA and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
